African Specialist

Judy Parsons began her career long interest in Africa with travel to West Africa in 1978 when the Roots phenomenon hit the travel industry. She designed programs encompassing the slave castles of Ghana, Alex Haley’s village, Traditional African Medicine, African Arts and Crafts tours, pilgrimages to find individual Roots to villages and remote spots. Adventure travel with an emphasis on wildlife has long been her passion. Judy has made numerous trips to Africa updating knowledge on destinations & infrastructure. In addition to safaris, she creates and operates special events for organizations and books musicians and entertainers to perform in a variety of events and venues.

Betty Barnett has been a travel counselor for 26 years. She has her Certified Travel Counselor certification as well as Destination Specialist designation in Western Europe, Scotland and Ireland.
