Fund Raising

Group Fundraiser at Sea

This is a great way to have fun and raise money for your organization. Contact Honeymoons and More and begin planning a group cruise on either Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line or Holland America. Each offers a unique fundraising program.

Carnival Cruise Line. Plan a group cruise on any Carnival ship. For each cabin sold the price is marked up a specified amount. This money goes to your organization and Carnival matches the amount as a donation.

For example, an oceanview cabin on a 7-night cruise (double occupancy) is priced at $1400 total (including port charges and taxes), the price is marked up to $1475. The extra $75 goes to your organization and Carnival matches this with another $75 donation. Your organization receives a total of $150 donation for this one cabin. Now times this by 20, 50, 100 or more cabins. The money your organization makes is significant...and there is very little work for your organization since your Cruise Consultant at Honeymoons and More will help you organize and market the group cruise, and do all of the booking arrangements.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. Plan a group cruise on any Royal Caribbean ship. Royal Caribbean gives you a certain number of points for extra amenities for each group cruise. Use these points for fundraising money.

For example, a private school is raising money on a 3-day group cruise. They are given 6 points by Royal Caribbean for this January cruise. The school trades the 6 points for the fundraiser. This equates to $50 per cabin sold in fundraising money to their school. Thirty cabins are sold. After the cruise sales Royal Caribbean gives a $1500 check to the school.

Please note that the longer the cruise the more Royal Caribbean will give to your organization.

Holland America Line: Book a stateroom of 5 or more state rooms on any Holland America Cruise and your group will receive a number of benefits including $50 per cabin on cruises of 7 days or less and $100 per cabin for 8 days or more. The same example above would equate to the same check after the cruise for $1500.

A group cruise on most cruise lines is a minimum of 8 cabins sold at a minimum of double occupancy.
